Sukhoi Superjet 100 produced when Post-Soviet Union, crash and fall around Mount Salak, Bogor, Indonesia, on Wednesday (9/5), shocking audiences of the world of flight, especially Indonesia and Russia. In the global market, the Superjet 100-engined SaM146 program competes with Bombardier CRJ Series regional aircraft belonging to Canada, Embraer E-Jets belonging to Brazil, and the Antonov An-148 belong to Ukraine. The engine developed by Powerjet which is a partnership between Snecma and NPO Saturn Russia France.
The aircraft was manufactured in 2007 and started in 2000 by Sukhoi with the help of a number of aerospace company West. For example, Boeing as a consultant on the project, Alenia Aeronautica as a strategic partner, Snecma as a risk-sharing partner, Thales Avionics package as a provider, and various other companies.
This aircraft has been certified by the The Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) on 3 February 2011 and is expected to earn certification for the European Union as soon as possible.
The aircraft was first fly in 2011. As for the first user is the national airline of Armenia, Armavia bought as many as four units. Furthermore, Russia’s national airline Aeroflot order of 50 units, three of which are already in operation.
While in Indonesia itself, the Kartika Airlines had been ordered as many as 15 , Sky Aviation as much as 15 units units. Indonesia is the fourth country visited aircraft Sukhoi Super Jet 100, from six countries are scheduled to visit.
Previously, these had visited Myanmar Sukhoi, Pakistan and Kazakhstan. After Jakarta, the plan will visit two other countries in the rest of Asia, Laos and Vietnam.
Since arriving in Jakarta, on Wednesday (9/5), the aircraft is already doing demos fly 2.5 hours in Jakarta.
