Yahoo! Survey A Massive Piracy of Data

Yahoo!, the US internet group has launched an internal investigation into the origin of piracy of 450,000 passwords and addresses email from one of its servers, announced the Group Thursday in a release.

A group of hackers, appearing under the name of D33DS, put online about 450,000 passwords and usernames of Yahoo! Voice and other sites of messaging, taking advantage of a breach in security of Yahoo!, said the group.

We ask that all affected users we apologize, We will immediately identify and repair the origin of this fault which resulted in the disclosure of these data by changing passwords of users concerned Yahoo! and informing the other sites hosting compromised user accounts,” said spokesman of yahoo! in a news release reported by AFP.

To 13 H 50 GMT, the action of Yahoo! assigned 0.19% to 15.77 dollars on the New York Stock Exchange.
