iPhone Saves The Motion Profile

Apple is under fire from privacy advocates: the iPhone seems to draw with the latest software from Apple permanent, where it is now the user. Privacy advocates warn against abuse by strangers.

iPhone Saves The Motion Profile

Apple stores precise motion profiles and therefore users of iPhones in a secret file on the smartphone. This was discovered by security experts as the newspaper “The Guardian” reported. At regular intervals, therefore, the latitude and longitude provided with a time stamp stored in a secret file.

The practice apparently began with the launch of the iPhone 4 last year. All older iPhones that have been playing the current operating system versions is likely, therefore, also be affected.

Privacy advocates criticize the new strong invasion of privacy. They also complain that the secret file is transferred to the connected computer and a switch to a new device to play on the phone. From the “private sector jealous person,” now everyone can understand the access to the computer or the iPhone is, when a person had stopped.

What Apple would use the data is not clear, The Guardian, we have not received any information to do so. Location and time data of all mobile phones are, in fact, in general, has been stored by the mobile operators, including Germany. However, they are seen by the police on request.
